I imagine one could imitate the same functionality with python but that would mean extra work. I'm afraid I cannot simply include it into the addon, I'm sorry. The script you linked is written in javascript, addons are written python. Users that routinely delete their posts once they receive an answer might be excluded from participating on the sub.
